Patrick has performed in New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Montréal, Philadelphia and Dublin. He has written two shows, The Ballad of the Young Offender and Trying for the Kingdom (with GJS & KG). His acting credits for SideMart include Bobby in American Buffalo, Emmett in The Dishwashers, and Da in Trad, for which he won the MECCA for Best Actor. He also created the part of Nicky Darling in Whiteman’s for which he wrote the song “I Want to Buy You Chocolates (For You).
Before SideMart, he created and performed three plays with SaBooge Theatre: Fathom (nominated best performer Dublin Fringe), Speakeasy, and Everyday Above Ground. Other selected theatre credits: Down Dangerous Passes Road (Talisman Theatre – French Critic’s Best English Production), Isadora Fabulist (Imago Theatre), Making Marilyn (Bridge Theatre NYC) and Maddy Heisler (Centaur Theatre).
He has been seen on the tv box in Law & Order: SVU, Dead Zone, The Last Templar and Blue Mountain State. Bigger screen credits include: I’m Not There, The Phantom and Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde. He will next be seen as Chad King in Walter Salles’ On The Road.
Raised in Victoria, British Columbia, he is a left coast kid at heart. He attended Queen’s University in Kingston (B.A. Honours in Stage and Screen Studies), and then went on to the Circle in the Square Theatre School Conservatory in New York.
